Drewsteignton

An exceptionally pretty small village on a ridge above the most spectacular part of the River Teign Gorge (walks by the wooded river-banks or on heathland), Thatched houses round the village square, a church at its head. An excellent friendly post office/shop and 'the local' Drewe Arms Inn with excellent beers and great pub food. The Old Inn Restaurant - fine dining at its best but in a relaxed atmosphere. Rookwood Cottage is a stone's throw away from the village square.
